Here's Perry's before and after picture..

Thursday, November 05, 2009

There have been many things go on this year. Perry was in the hospital in December 2008. Perry changed jobs in February 2009 from The Annuity Store back to AutoZone full time. He has worked all over Northern California, Santa Fe, New Mexico; Houston, Texas; Port Angeles, Washington and now in Los Angeles. He works setting up new and remodeling existing stores. We miss being together as much as before, but are grateful he has a job and that he enjoys what he does! We just make the most of the time he is here.

Our nephew Thomas worked in Fairfield, California earlier this year. Hayden (our nephew) visited Thomas during that time and were able to spend a great evening with them. Then later to spend time with Thomas before he headed back to Idaho. It was so good to get to know them a little more.

Suzanne married Craig Wuehler April 24, 2009 in the Oakland Temple. The sealing was beautiful as well as the receptions. We had a wonderful time with family and friends and are so grateful for their love and support for Suzanne and Craig.

We have been able to have our family together a few times times this year, it is such a blessing to have that time together. We love them all so much.

On July 15, 2009 Perry had gastric bypass surgery and is doing so well. We are so grateful for the blessings we have been so generously given, especially Perry's good health.

I was able to serve in the Young Womens program as the Laurel Advisor. I enjoyed the opportunity to serve from September 2008 to September 2009. I learned so much from them and grew to love them.

I was called In February 2009 as the Stake Primary Music Leader. WOW! What a huge responsibility! I love the calling and the sisters I am able to serve with. I love music, especially Primary Music and am so grateful for this calling.

We are so grateful for our family and friends and look forward to making more memories.

I will include Perry's before and after pictures when I can figure out how to do it, he looks Amazing!!

Merry Belated Christmas & Happy New Year!

We have had a good Christmas, we have been blessed to be together and enjoy the company of our family. However, Perry was admitted to the hospital on Christmas Eve day with an infection in his leg. He is getting better and will probably be released on Sunday. Suzanne, James, Heather & Jordan were able to share Christmas with us here at Sutter General Hospital. We were able to also webcam with Jeremy, Cami, Aiden, Ashlyne & Arianne on Christmas Eve. Thank heaven for technology!

We have many things to be grateful for at this time of year, even as we wait in the hospital.

  • Our Family

  • Our Home

  • Our Health

  • Our Ward

  • Our Jobs

  • Our Testimonies of the gospel of Jesus Christ

  • Now Especially...the Medical Staff at Sutter General & our doctors' office.

  • The reason for the season...the opportunity to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

Happy 30th Birthday Suzanne!!
We all went to Red Robin Restaurant to celebrate with her. Perry, James, Heather, Jordan, Nancy & I enjoyed dinner with Suzanne.

By the way...Suzanne is engaged to Craig Wuehler. He is from San Leandro. They are getting married April 24, 2009 in the Oakland LDS temple.

We are so happy for her...she is celebrating her 30th birthday & their engagement all in the past 4 days!!

I have recently been called as the Laurel Advisor and I am enjoying this calling so much. I have served in many positions, but this is the first time in the Young Women's program. I worked with many of the girls in Primary when I was the chorister. It's wonderful to see how they have progressed, the choices they have made and how their testimonies have developed.

Hello Everyone!
We're going to try this again!
I was called to be the 2nd Counselor in the Relief Society Presidency earlier this month and I am enjoying the opportunity to serve. We are having our Relief Society Birthday party on March 25th and I am so looking forward to it.

On March 7th Jeremy and Cami had a new baby, Arianne Lois Petersen, 8 lbs 9 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. They are blessing her on March 30, Perry and I are flying up on the 26th as the rest of the family drive up to be there too. It will be fun! I'll do my best to post pictures when we get back.
